American Hustle

OKAY! I FINALLY, finally, finally got to see American Hustle!

Thank god.

I was so excited, but really had no idea what it was about! Honestly, it was a phenomenal movie! I laughed, was anxious, and ready to see what was going to happen next!

Thanks to IMDB…..click it if you need a recap!

I think Jennifer Lawrence was amazing, and definitely deserved the Golden Globe, same with… Amy Adams… I think this was her best movie so far! Congrats to these amazing women!

Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale did amazing too. I think this was also one of CB best movies!

I didn’t expect the end…did you? πŸ™‚

Have you seen American Hustle? What do you think?

I rate it as a 9/10!

Scary movies….

I love, love, love horror/suspense/thriller/ and the occasional gory movie!

There is something about being scared (in the comfort of your house) that is fun (?! yes, no?) I have seen close to all of the classics and new scary movies that have come out recently!

So here are the list of movies I love. Some are cheesy (come on, 80’s horror movies….) but still awesome in their own way!

1. Scream (2,3, and 4)

2. Halloween (the original)

3. Nightmare on Elm St.

4. The Conjuring

5. I Know What You Did Last Summer

6. Carrie

7. Black Christmas

8. Texas Chainsaw Massacre

9.Β  The Exorcist

10. American Psycho

Are there any huge names I forgot that are awesome? Probably, but this list is pretty good in my opinion!

Delivery Man!

Last week, I saw Delivery Man with a friend. We got some popcorn, chatted a little before the movie and had some awesome friend bonding time! (I even got a workout in before the movie, score!) Now, I am not a huge fan of comedies but this one looked so funny! Click here for the trailer if you have not seen it yet/do not know what movie I am talking about. The trailer gives a pretty good insight about what the movie is going to be about… There are definitely some twists and turns throughout though. (Thanks youtube for the video.)

What did I think, you ask? Well, I thought it was SO FUNNY. It made me laugh, I teared up at the end, and it was overall a pretty good movie. I will admit some parts of the movie were a little drawn out…. I will also say, I am not a huge fan of Vince Vaughn but I have a lot of respect for him in this movie. He did fantastic. It was such a funny, feel good movie. Definitely a must see if I do say so myself!

Happy Monday!

*This is my opinion!

The Scream Movies!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend! Now, it is the start of a brand new week…go get some coffee and try to take it easy this am!

Ghost Face, Sydney Prescott, Cotton Weary…. Do you see where I am going with this? The Scream Movies! Anyone who knows me could tell you how obsessed I am with these movies. I have seen each one at least 20-0293482094 times a piece? Yes, I do not think that is an exaggeration πŸ™‚ I could probably write a 10 page paper on each movie…. I first saw these movies when I was 8 years old, thank you family, HA! Now, this is all my opinion but if you have not seen these movies, I think they are a Horror movie must see.

Click here are the trailers for Scream 1-4 (From youtube!)

The quality is not the best but you get the picture! Sheer brilliance πŸ™‚

Have you ever seen these movies? If so, do you love them as much as I do?

Happy Monday! Maybe go watch a Scream movie? I know I am!! πŸ™‚

Holiday Movies

Welcome to a new week!! I hope your Monday is going/treating you well. Can you believe that Thanksgiving is in just a few short days? It is crazy! Another thing that is crazy is that, Christmas…is in…….25. days. WHAT!

Here is a little quote to get your Monday going: “You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” –Eleanor Roosevelt

Last weekend, I decided to watch some Christmas movies to start to get into the spirit…. Oh who am I kidding?! I have been in the spirit since Nov. 1st. It was a great decision while watching these great movies, I started decorate my house!

The movies I watched were Elf, Home Alone and Home Alone 2, The Grinch, and The Holiday πŸ™‚

If you haven’t seen these movies, I believe they are a Holiday must (along with the classics likeΒ  A Christmas Story, A Christmas Carol, and White Christmas to name a few). Out of these five movies I must say that The Holiday and Elf are two of my favorites! What are your favorite Holiday movies? Let me know πŸ™‚

Happy, happy Monday!
